Safety is of the utmost importance to Hampton Luxury Liner so we are sharing information on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Motorcoach Safety Summit which will begin on Friday, September 23, 2011. Motorcoach company owners, drivers, safety advocates, tour operators and elected officials will meet in Washington D.C. to develop recommendations to raise and improve safety throughout the motorcoach industry. Participating in the summit will be Ray La Hood, the Secretary of U.S. Department of Transportation and Anne S. Ferro, administrator at U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier. A series of regional roundtables held in Dallas, TX; Columbus, OH; Anaheim, CA and New York City will provide the information used at the panel discussions and sessions.
The summit will also be available to the public at www.motorcoachsafety.ideascale.com. Input from each roundtable can be reviewed and additional comments can be submitted. FMCSA will make the summit available via webcast by visiting the agency’s website at www.fmcsa.dot.gov.
